Membership to the AIIA
To become a member of the AIIA please contact me in the first instance by e-mail giving your full agency details, how long you've been established, what type of service you offer, whether your home or office based agency. Your fee structures, terms and conditions of your service, full address, agency phone number and any additional information you feel relevant to your application.
In addition to this, you must be a UK based introduction agency, where clients/ members and their potential introductions can make contact with you. No box numbers or virtual addresses permitted. The AIIA do not accept any 'foreign bride introduction services ' as it would be impossible to monitor codes of practice where introductions were made in another country.AIIA
do NOT insist on an agency having a separate office address, as new agencies are sometimes unable initially to provide this, or perhaps want to work in a less formal way -Which does not indicate the agency is less genuine, or unable to offer a high standard of service. Quite often it is a female who operates the agency, and may be a lone worker, therefore the AIIA would not be suggesting that an office in the home, be made available to meet with potential clients, or male visitors for safety purposes. We always suggest to females to meet at a suitable venue for meeting new clients.
SAFETY is paramount. Amongst the industry it is accepted that females meeting for the first time ( dates) be advised to meet in public places,therefore the AIIA would not suggest otherwise to our members.
*Membership fee £200: payable every 12 months (1st Jan-31st Dec) including website listing, admin, website updating, creating/writing AIIA literature, logo, advice, support, resolving any issues a member agency may be experiencing. Resolving agency issues can take time, as I'm on hand to help and advise 24/7, this has to be reflected in the annual fee, as it takes me away from my own agency work.
